If you haven’t already, go a few episodes back and do their recap of the 09-10 season. It’s worth your time.

This is what I understand. When I get some time I'd like to give it a listen.

The Timeline podcast got the blood flowing during this slow period. After listening to it, they have me wondering if Anderson can create some offensive punch at power forward. I have to think Igor was involved in this trade and he has plans for him.

The Timeline is a good follow on Twitter also. I'm pretty sure they're the local group that makes some pretty good highlight videos also. Unfortunately they don't post them on Youtube because of copyright problems they've had on there in the past but they do post them on Twitter. Here is their Twitter Link https://twitter.com/TheTimelinePod

Here's one of the latest videos they made about the Suns PG's playing defense.

I prefer The Solar Panel podcast.

But the Timeline is good to God I can't wait for basketball to get here. I've never been so excited about a team I know has no shot at the playoffs

Well it's football season now so there's that. Some of these chumps are just weird, I mean Ryan Anderson our starting PF, with Bender already locking up that position for sure? Oh yeah, Ariza is a PF now, and his skinny mini-me, Josh "I need to work on my dribbling" Jackson (at least he cut his hair so he has good vision and it don't interfere with his text book shooting form) is the SF. We are without position now so let's get even more outmuscled than we normally do. OK OK, I forget Ayton, but I have my doubts. Put me down for 30 wins. Sorry dad, no playoffs this year either.

Even football is not looking good from Cardinals land.

I'm hoping for more than 30 wins otherwise it's time to look for a new GM.

35 wins is good that's a 14 game improvement for a young team

if jackson and Bridges flop he is toast.

I don't expect Bridges to flop but if he does, that alone would likely put him on life support. He'd be the second time we'd paid a premium to move up in the draft and the other one has already failed (for us, anyway).

I am not looking at Bridges to flop, either. Seems like the real deal from limited I have seen of him. Jackson struggling in Summer League worries me somewhat. However, against NBA talent at the end of the year he had some good games, even if not the most efficient.

Jackson will get things together sooner than later, I think. At least he's playing too hard rather than not hard enough. Slowing a player down is much easier than speeding them up, Jackson should be fine.

It was an interesting interview regarding Chris.

“We see more than the public does”

There was something wrong with Chris, either the locker room or off-season commitment.

Also said that he did not fit what the new coach wants to run.

Yeah. I found that interesting as well. He didn't participate in Summer League, and it sounds like that was not because the front office felt he didn't need the experience.

This remark by McDonough answered all my questions about Chriss.

Maybe the Suns get better by omission... the departure of Knight and Chriss. The question still haunts McDonough of why brought these players on board.

This franchise, I swear. If Chriss is gone because he's an impossible head case, fine. But if he's gone because he doesn't fit the "system" of a first-time head coach, that's beyond idiotic.

Um, it's pretty well known that regardless of system, Chriss isn't a good fit next to Ayton.

You wanna attack the franchise, fine. But at least consider the actual game. Chriss simply isn't that important, and the decision to ship him off is nowhere near "beyond" idiotic.

You have always been pretty high on Chriss, even over Bender. I am curious why.

Gambo said as much on the local radio at the end of the year. That is why I was convinced he was gone. At one point he said the last 10 games for Chriss would determine if he was on the team next year.

Him not being there for Summer League was just the icing on the cake. He was gone but the GM wasn't going to come out and say "This guy sucks and he won't be here next year"
