Charlotte will select Pavlovic in the expansion draft and trade him for a future first to Cleveland.

That's what the article says.

That can't be possible if it is a Cleveland pick because they still owe us a future one that might be traded to Charlotte.

What they could do is reduce the restrictions on that pick probably?

cleveland is going to trade for a center that may still be there when they pick by giving up a non lottery pick to get the second over all pick in the draft?

Not sure but I always assumed the back to back trading of First Round Picks - meant in a single trade? Example Suns trade 2 First Rounders - 2004 and 2006?
