Len sure fumbled a lot of passes and had trouble finishing tonight, but I think that had more to do with him being "rusty" and not him being "raw" ... I think a lot of people are too quick to call Len "raw" just because he's young: If a Veteran player missed those same shots after sitting out a week, wouldn't you say he was "rusty"? ... As a Rookie especially, it's hard to get your timing perfectly right in a game and catch passes after not playing in a week - I seriously think if Hornacek just played Len CONSISTENTLY 15-20 minutes for 5 or so games, he won't drop any more passes and he'll finish those easy ones inside ...

For Ex. - He missed a dunk and a wide-open layup - That has nothing to do w/ being "raw" ... Every player at any level can make those shots - I think it was just nerves / rust: The fact that he seemed to be in the right position all night (something not affected by "rust" really) shows it wasn't really a lack of smarts/skills/etc. - I really hope he doesn't go back to the bench: sitting Len out every other game isn't helping him w/ his timing + rhythm to finish around the basket ...

If a veteran played the way Len has I wouldnt call him rusty, I'd call him bad. I HOPE Len is merely raw, because the alternative is that he stinks.

I think it is clear that we need a healthy Bledsoe going forward. Dragic has been fantastic this season but he appears to be wearing down. I think it is as much mental as it is physical. He wants to do the right thing but having to do what he needs to do to keep this team winning night in and night out appears to be wearing him down.

It really is too bad Bledsoe had to go down but I think it really makes sense to not rush him back as well. The only reason we do not sign him this off season is if our doctors are concerned about his long term health. What he brings to the court is amazing and makes our back court one of the best in the league. With Goran and Bled we have the ability to put the pressure on the opponent for 48 minutes every night. I love Ish but man that guy has the worst looking shot I have every seen. When it goes in the hoop, other than an outright lay up, it is amazing.

Green the walking t/o lost this game last night. I cringe every time he puts the ball on the floor. He either travels, picked, bounces off his foot, steps out, or makes an ill advised pass. I know he can be a scoring phenom, "when he's on", which also wasn't the case again until late. But I compare his BB IQ to that of Tim Perry or Earl Clark. They were all athletically gifted players, there was just a disconnect somewhere.

Disagree on the bad passing. Yes, he is good for 2 TOs a game, but he makes up for it. And he passes quite well for a "scorer", in my opinion.
He gives the Suns a chance every night. Other than Dragic and sometimes Kieff and Frye, who else can you say that about?

Actually the only one we can say that about every night is Dragic. If Bledsoe had played in more than 24 games, he'd be there, too.

Hopefully two of the rest have given us a chance in some games.

P L A Y E R......P P G......R P G......A P G
Dragic.............21.2........3.6.........6.5

Bledsoe...........18.0........4.3.........5.8

Green.............15.2.........3.5.........1.6
Frye...............11.8.........5.2.........1.2
Marcus...........10.1..........4.1........1.1
Markeiff..........9.4...........5.0........1.3
Tucker............9.4...........6.5........1.9
Plumlee..........8.6...........8.3.........0.5

Of course, this (except for rebounds) refers only to offense. Bledsoe, Tucker and Plumlee would be the factors on defense.

The numbers illustrate how Jeff has the whole being more than the sum of the parts.
