The Suns are just what the doctor ordered up for the sliding Clippers.

It felt like the Suns loss to the Timberwolves closed what remaining chance they had of making the play-ins.

Now, I'm not sure what to expect. It could get ugly.

If the slide continues or not, I want to see the young players get more minutes. Maybe they will bring some energy to the team.

Maybe?! There's no way they wouldn't. It's such a low bar that I have no question they would. You can see it every time Dunn plays. There's an infusion of energy in the team. Not sure how Bud doesn't see that. He's one of the only players on the team willing to drive into the lane and make things happen.

Bud has to make the decision at some point to focus on the youth. I'm not sure if he is there yet.

Still, the Suns will be forced to play their stars per NBA rules unless they suddenly develop time-consuming injuries.

I'm not saying he is. My point was predicated on what the energy difference would be if they were to play. In fact, we've already seen it with Dunn, Gillespie, TyTy, and Oso in their limited minutes.
