This game told all we need to know.

1 - QB situation will never happen again. Cards will sell everything this off season to get a player.

2 - Whis has lost em' . I know in management when the staff starts soon their own thing under a guys direction he is no longer an effective manager. Sorry Whis...its either fire someone or you're the guy that'll be fired. The team is running 3/4 speed and doing their OWN thing. They have lost respect for u or ur staff...maybe both.

3 - this team is BAD real bad. They shouldn't have beat Oakland and they are getting killed to the point that games are over before the 4th quarter even starts.

4 - next season will be the first that all games are NoT sold out in this stadium.

Get ready a storm is coming.

I agree with this. This is a player's league, and blaming the coach, who took the Cardinals to 8-8, 9-7, 10-6, and the Super Bowl, after only one bad season I think is presumptuous.

Sometimes, you're the head of a sinking ship. We don't know if it was the team or coaching staff (or both) that messed up the QB position in the off season, and without a field general, you're out of luck quickly. I can't think of a good team right now over .500 that has a bad quarterback, though Cutler comes to mind. The QB position means that much.

Also, pass rusher means that much. Our secondary is average with one very good player (DRC) and one very poor coverage safety (AW). No pass rush = Hasselbeck picks us apart all day.

Add a QB and a pass rusher and this team wins the west with Ken Whisenhunt. He simply doesn't have the horses, and the horses he does have are lame.

If next year we add a QB and some young pass rushers (not this Joey Porter nonsense), and the team still sucks, yeah I'm right there with you guys and I'll blame the coach with you. But I just can't throw the coach under the bus when he has absolute garbage to work with at key positions in a passing league.

i totally agree with #2 whiz has lost them :( 4 straight games and 4 losses. the team has no heart left. on the radio, the side line reporter said that Fanaca was yelling and swearing at everybody on the offense to get there act together and play like men. well when they came out they laid an egg 3 plays in a row and had to punt and graham kick a line drive and the guy had a big return. i fear we will be the cellar dwellers this year and not the 49ers. i put most of this on whiz for ffing up the quarterback situation and i know it's not just the qb problem. they knew what they had in training camp! unacceptable. this should have never happened and I'm pissed. they should have been looking for a veteran QB when warner announced his retirement. sad sad sad :(

He is the one that picked a lot of this garbage. You can't possibly leave him innocent for all of this. I agree he may have had some limits set on him by the front office but he certainly is the main culprit in the QB fiasco.

He is certainly the main culprit in the quality of coaching staff and a major contributor to the mindset of this team.

I'm 49 years old now, and I'm fearing the high water mark for this team was the last two years. In 2035 will I be reliving the glory days of 2008-2009? I really don't want to go back to getting pumped up because we won our 5th game of the season over the Detroit Lions in the finale.

You won't make it till 2035 with this team. Being a fan for that long will make you have suicidal thoughts and get you hooked on anti depressants.
Trust me! I have been a fan for much longer than 25 years. About every 20 years they give you a glimmer of hope, then the powers to be realize that the team is showing some signs of life and reaches down and smacks your star qb and he decides to quit or inspires the team to make a dunderhead trade.

You mentioned a definite Whiz problem that needs mgt attention. He goes after players who played for Pitt when Whiz was there and who were great then. Whiz doesnt seem to understand the concept of time. That was then this is now. MGT needs to stop Whiz from going after old Steelers like McFadden, Faneca and Porter. This aint a retirement home for old Steelers to get a big paycheck and rest their old bones.

:( Sad to say, but this team has quit on Whiz! I would hope he can turn it around next season, but a lot of changes have got to be made. 1st the coaching staff, defense Adrian, is over the hill, QB, Offense line. Levi should be moved to guard at once. Need an OC, And DC (ASAP). Sorry for the rambling, so upset with this team, I think I'm going to go and and get drunk. Never thought I would say this but, GO RAM'S, please no 49ers or Pete.

I gotta disagree. He doesn't just bring in ex-steeler guys because he thinks they'll play at that level again. He brings them in to show these young guys what it takes to get to that level. We all heard before Bryant McFadden came here that he was one of the most studious guys in the league when it came to preparing for games. He gets brought in for a year to show the DRC/Toler guys and gets shipped out the next year when the lessons over.

Porter has his high motor and aggressiveness and thats what Whiz wanted. Probably a big reason he let so many fights happen this offseason. He wants the tough/we're coming to kill you attitudes. Same with Faneca. These aren't guys that were going to win a Superbowl with, but they are guys that can be a teacher to the young guys when the coaches can't cross the white line on Sundays. I don't know why everyone is so upset lol. We all said before the season this was a learning year. Probably a year we finish strong at 8-8 and get really excited for next season.

Is the coach who Coached Wilt Chamberlien a good coach? Or is he getting the wins because he had a dominate player?

Yea the Cards had good records the last 3 years....But how much was that because Warner can throw a twinkie into a toaster??

Whiz has let this team crumble awful fast since last year....And the problem is...Himself...Why call the plays he does with what he has on the field???

Note that Warner was a MESS his first 2 years in AZ as a starter. Fumble after fumble...after sack....he was a stinking mess

Leinart would have led us to at least a .500 record
