Listening to WiP on my short commute home and the commentators were pissed that Kelly was able to find a job before the Eagles were able to find his replacement. IMO it's looking more and more like Shurmur is going to get the interim tag removed because more and more coaches are getting snapped up and right now the pool is pretty thin. I mean the Browns found a replacement already.

Nonsense. I don't think the Eagles' job is particularly appealing because they don't have a QB and they don't have a good draft pick and they don't have many good players, but there are candidates out there. It just happens that a bunch of them are in the playoffs:

Todd Haley
Josh McDaniels
Darrell Bevell (Why not?)
Sean McDermott (DC of the Panthers and would be a great hire — He's worked with Laurie and Banner before)
Rob Chudzinski (IND)

I think they should just hire Greg Schiano. Screw the Eagles.

Well, this division just got tougher. Oh well...gotta earn it in the West.

Yup. Even if you don't like Chip, you have to admit that he's a better option than Tomsula.

I think Chip is probably a good coach — about as good as Fisher in a different way.

None of those you mentioned are being talked about. The only candidates being talked about here have been hired by other teams or aren't interested.

Chipper sucks and will prove it in spades with the 9ers.

IMNSHO Chip Kelly is good for the NFL. A work in progress that might help drag the NFL out of the Stone Age a bit more. I find the NCAA game way beyond the NFL for pure entertainment. Coaches like Kelly, Briles, etc put fannies in the seats and make it Showtime.

I watch NCAA occasionally and absolutely hate read option offenses. I cant even watch ASU anymore.
