Amarefan:

Do you think that because you forked up $60 to go to the ROH game makes you any more of a Suns fan then anyone else on this board? Even worse, you support the folks who went to the game and booed JC (as you probably did also). Did it ever occur to you that Barkleys ROH night would have never happened if JC didn't want it to.
You may not support all of the decisions that JC & BC & Cotton have made over the last year, but don't come to this site crying that people are not loyal Suns supporters because they do not agree with your views and didn't make it to a ROH game.
I won't even go into the finacial aspects/location/other reasons as to why people didn't attend the game.

AmareFan, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I understand your frustration, especially as a season-ticket holder. Frankly I think you got unfairly criticized in this thread, and I do think you have more of a right to be critical of the Colangelos moves this season since you spent a lot of your hard-earned money on season tickets.

That said, you don't even know who was at the game and who wasn't. You also don't know any of the circumstances surrounding our absence that the game. Grahamcracker wasn't at the game because he was at a charity event. You haven't the foggiest why I wasn't there or why Chandler Mike may not have attended.

I do think you got screwed as a season-ticket holder. The Colangelos said over and over that they were building around the young nucleus of Stephon Marbury, Amare Stoudemire, and Shawn Marion. I can understand how trading Marbury would frustrate someone who dropped a large sum of money for season tickets. However I think that you can probably see the reasoning behind the trade. Frankly I think it would be fair (completely unrealistic though) if the Phoenix Suns gave you season-ticket holders a rebate with some of that $13 million they're supposedly going to save from the Tom Gugliotta trade.

I understand your frustrations. I just don't think it's cool to criticize other people you don't even really know for not attending a basketball game.

Come to the games and support your team, otherwise don't comment on facts or actual events that occurred, especially when you weren't even at the Frickin game. Remember, you stayed home and watched on TV. Hope it was a big screen.

let me get this right, you are saying that because i wasnt at the game because i live in another state i dont have the right to comment on the team or what poor taste it is for fans to boo JC during the ROH half time show? so by your reasoning the only fans that the suns can have (or any sports team) are the ones who come to the game? if you dont go to every game then you can be a fan? wow you know amarefan i didnt see you last summer at the RMR, so by your own reasoning get off the boards and dont ever post again.

I was at the game and Jerry did get booed and one or two people did scream "Sell the Team!" It was very embarrassing with all the legends at the game. :( All in all it was a great ceremony. I will post photos when I get home tonight.

Slin, please don't post that crap here again. The Gary Coleman picture was fine. I'm not sure what to make of the picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger and the mentally disabled kid. The other picture was inappropriate for this forum, and you know it.

the biggest game in over 3+ years

Your team is last in the Western Conference...playing a .500 team from the East.

Biggest game in over 3+ years?

:lmao:

Call it the biggest off-the-court event or something, but not the biggest game. :D

Oh man Phil, Thanks for that site. I could have fun with those pictures and the prank calls all day.

The Samuel Jackson, Pulp-Fiction ones are hilarious. And the Schwarzenegger ones even better.
