Indianapolis Colts' free-agent tight end Kylen Granson will not be returning and is instead joining the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles on a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter.

Granson was a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft by the Colts and had spent his career up to this point with the team.

Over his career, Granson caught 66% of his 131 targets for 958 yards and one touchdown. Most recently, in 2024, Granson totaled just 14 receptions and 182 yards through the air, per PFF.

After the season, GM Chris Ballard said that the Colts needed more production in the passing game from the tight end position. For that reason, along with Granson and Mo Alie-Cox being free agents, this offseason felt like an opportunity for the Colts to hit the reset button to a degree at this position.

So, it should not come as a surprise that Granson did not return to the Colts.

Granson now joins an Eagles' tight end room with Dallas Goedert, EJ Jenkins, Cameron Latu, and Nick Muse--although, according to Jordan Schultz, the Eagles are "open to trade talks" involving Goedert.
