Columbus Crew to acquire Daniel Gazdag from Philadelphia Union

The Crew are finalizing a deal to acquire midfielder Daniel Gazdag from the Philadelphia Union, a source has confirmed. The terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.

Gazdag, who joined Philadelphia from Hungary's Nemzeti Bajnoksag in 2020, was the Union's 2024 leading scorer in the regular season with 17 goals. Across four MLS seasons, Gazdag has recorded 58 regular-season goals.

In international play, the 29-year-old has scored four goals for Hungary's national team since his debut in 2019.

Columbus is set to travel to St. Louis City SC for a Sunday game, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
