Nope...... But I would honestly take him over any College prospect, or FA.

Would take Keenum over Cousins.... If for no other reason, he would be cheaper (providing he doesn't light it up in the playoffs) also because I would be spared... "You like that??" sound bytes by at least 80%

Seriously you guys? He is so far ahead of anyone in the draft. I would gladly give our first pick for him than gamble on any of this qb draft group of that was a real option.

Take that Vikings D away and the TEN 100yd rushing games and watch the real Keenum. Its one season let's not proclaim him the next Kurt......oh wait

How many one year wonders have we seen at QB a freakin ton.

Good QBs aren't in 5 different teams in 5 years. He sucks

I watched a lot of Keenum when he was with the Rams. He would make a couple of beautiful throws then one boneheaded one that would end up a pick. Very inconsistent. He would be a good bridge QB while developing a rook. He would definitely make a great back up QB.

I like Case Keenum. He plays with passion and grit. I think he's a legit starting QB and would be very happy if we signed him.

Keenum is Josh McCown without the...hell, he's McCown in every way. Adequate QB who won't lose you games but not win you any either. Let me put it this way. Down by 6 with 1:30 to play and you have the ball on your own 20. Do you have faith that Keenum can bring you down field? Thing is, Warner could, Keenum can't.

Let's keep in mind that Warner lit it up when surrounded by highly skilled playmakers in both St-Louis and AZ and he was as prone as the next to bonehead interceptions, notably with the Giants.

I recall a NY - AZ game where we beat up on him pretty good.

Why would you give up a draft choice after you signed a free agent? The dude is a free agent after this season unless MN were to franchise him.

More people on the internet every year means more stupidity too. Reference this topic.

The comparison is not about abilities, it’s about limited performance. What made Warner exceptional was his ability to use the talent around him. Only Peyton Manning in this generation rivaled Warner’s ability to read defenses. Warner consistently made the best choice on which option was the best target. Keenum has not displayed a similar talent. I’d be okay with Keenum as a bridge. I agree on better him being than Cousins. I also prefer this option to giving up a draft pick for Smith. However, much would depend on the contract. If the Cards could walk away clean after a couple of years, this would be a nice option. At the QB price there’s no way Keenum gets franchised.

Harry, who is your top choice as the Cardinals new HC? Who is your second choice? I'd love to see a thread from you on this.

BTW---I think the Vikings would franchise Keenum just to get something in return via a trade (which, wouldn't be 2 first rounders, that's for sure---something less---but at least something).

I really liked Patricia, but a long time ago I posted he would accept another offer. I don’t know if it was published then. I like Shurmur and posted elsewhere he’d likely bring Dorsey & Keenum with him. I’m not as excited by Munchak or Wilks. I’ve ssked around and people I respect think Shurmur is the best choice if he’s not grabbed elsewhere. There is competition. Jax is a sleeper I’m told. I think you’re doing just fine laying out the options. Hope you saw my joke on your other thread. I still like to have fun.

I’m noticing my written skills are eroding somewhat, so I’m trying to show some discipline and limit elaborate posts. The other day I called Budda, Bubba; just a little slippage, but worrisome.

the best way to avoid slippage is to exercise that muscle Harry... keep on writing, helps keep the mind sharp

You silly goose, you. We all know that. It is just a reference to the value of him compared to the ones in the draft. I'll word it differently next time though. Sorry to cause any disruption in anyone's synapses.

I honestly don't see much difference between Bridgewater or Keenum. Neither one is going to carry a team on their back week after week. Both are game managers with each having shortcomings.
