Well as long as it happens again with other posters, that's the important thing.

I just can't believe what I'm reading here in this thread. Am I the only one who is disgusted by this kind of thing? This guy is laughing his butt off right now because of the trouble he has managed to cause. Frankly guys, if you'd rather I just not post at all, and would rather just read the musings of registered-yesterday instigators with sixth grade writing skills, then just let me know. I'm sure it will go over just as well with you when your masculinity is questioned because you like the Suns, and when dumb little plays on your username are posted, etc.

Just man up and send me a PM. There's no need to be coy about it with all these boring, grandstanding "You shouldn't do this" posts. Send me a PM and tell me how much you resent my efforts at trying to be an insightful, eloquent, and funny poster--tell me how much you're offended by that. And especially be sure to tell me how inappropriate it is for me to be more concerned about some things (like immature posters looking for trouble on this forum) than you are.

I think it's a crime that people like this make it to 40+ posts in the first place. I realize that everybody's busy as hell, and can't monitor this message board 24/7, but this smug instigator should have just been banned outright after the first "haha ur gay." Here we are at day 2 and it still hasn't happened. I'm not sure how much good it does, anyway, because I've noticed that the same people just re-register and come right on back to cause more trouble. But that's a logistical concern for the mods to worry about.

If you see things differently, and really do believe that people like that somehow have a right to post here, then perhaps I've just misread the forum rules, and worse, misunderstood the whole purpose of this message board in the first place. And if that's the case, then perhaps my stay here has run its course?

I personally haven't read much of your posts, but almost all of the ones I have, have been calling out new posters. I would love to read your posts as related to the subject matter rather than the ones where they are calling someone out. That's why I come here.

The way I look at it is "who cares?" This was a playoff atmosphere against a team that has ALWAYS intimidated us.

Granted it was a nice gesture Duncan was making, but you gotta understand why Shaq didn't take his hand.

Shaq sent a powerful message to Timmy and the Spurs by not taking his hand. I thought that was great

Exactly.. I dont think it was classless.. It was a message from Shaq.. Shaq isnt stupid.. He knows we could never get past the spurs.. He just sent the spurs and our players a message..

if i was shaq, i would have done the same thing. he knows tim duncan is one of the best all time and tim duncan knows the same of shaq. he was showing a little toughness, that's it. What he did came at a perfect time. We weren't on the court to make friends, we were there to beat our rival.

Do you honestly think "mind play" works at that level? It doesn't. Do you honeslty think that TD or anyone is going to be intimidated by such a move? Come on.

It absolutely does. Just ask superstars like MJ, Barkely etc.. They were notorious for getting into peoples heads.

Like i said when asked.. i can see Shaqs motivation but none the less feel your a lot classier person if you accept the jesture then prove that if your not on my team your nothing, with your play.

Great ploy by Shaq. Also, Tim swatted the ball away from Shaq after the player was over. Check the replay. That probably pissed him off.

Sorry but if your that butt hurt over something your too sensitive. It's not like Shaq doesn't respect him. Remember what Shaq said about Amare. He never really new how good the guy was because he didn't ever think about other players he played against. It's a mental thing for him.

So what he did was not out of disrespect for Duncan the player. It was just his way of saying, stay away from me while we are out here playing.

I said I would not reply to you but since you cannot leave it alone I must.

1. Are you really that full of yourself to think I sit here laughing at trouble I cause? Come on.
2. A poster asked what people thought of the TD helping shaq up thing. I simply replied. If it was the other way around and TD refused shaqs hand I would have given the same reply.
3. Sixth grade writing skills? Instigator? Immature? Smug? If i read the rules you so often bring up correctly, these remarks are inappropriate. A bit hypocritical dont you think? We will address this again later.
4. I did man up. I apologized several times to the posters here for my inapropriate remarks. I also sent the Mod an apology and insurance that I wouldnt lower myself to that level again.
5. You talk about not grandstanding and sending a PM in a grandstanding post. Another hypocritical comment.
6. Last but not least.... YOU STARTED IT. I simply replied to a posters question about the duncan/shaq thing. You know darn well you were trying to provoke me as you have many other posters who dont share YOUR opinion by of all things making fun of my screename and calling me a pie eater etc. (The gay remarks I made, although very inapropriate, were a juxtposition on the pie eating comments). Then you have the gaul to whine to others that i made plays on your username? Wow!
I have recieved no less that 4 msg's from other posters saying you have done this to them and other new members. Go figure!
And you talk about manning up. Maybe you should follow your own advice?

Im done with you and your comments. If anyone wishes to actualy talk bball, i'll be around.

Steeldog... No doubt lesser players can be intimidated with mind games. Not so sure Duncan would be. I must admit I didnt see the swat by duncan.

I still stand behind my comments that its much classier to accept the hand... then crush em on the court.

To be honest, i dont think shaq, TD, or anyone else even thought about it. It was no big deal.

You can respect a player off the court. It doesn't mean you don't put on your game face during play. Sorry but save the pleasantries for after the game. Shake hands...sing Kumbaya if you want to.

I seriously doubt Tim Duncan cares and neither should we.
