One more huge mistake by the Cardinals organization. Hey, it's not the first time! They have done them before, perhaps more often than any other franchise in sports. Yet, for every of these moves, there are fans that stand behind these actions. To me, thats unbelieavable. He (Anquan) was the best WR in the history of this franchise. A complete wideout and a footballplayer in general, not a one trick pony. Of course, they had to find a way to keep him, they did know how to deal with it, that's why he is not here, and being a main reason another team just won a superbowl. I was truly happy watching him dominate every single game this post season. He was the key for every of the playoff wins, a remarkable and outstanding and consistent performance. He was a nightmare matchup. I can say this with confidence, no, Ravens do not win a superbowl if Boldin is still a Cardinal. Even the jacoby jones catch, the attention provided as an attempt to stop him, has been crucial in developing the other WRs on that Raven football team.

If anyone had to leave, should have been Fitz. Yet, not only did they save Boldins money to please Fitz, they even let him chose the teams QB! That's the best sign of a bad leadership and knowledge of this game, and a great recipe for failure! I'd much rather see Boldin and Torrey Smith than Fitz/Roberts.. But They had to find a way to keep them both and find a replacement for Warner. You keep your great players. They have failed in every aspect of that, spending huge money on busts like Kevin Kolb. You save money on a reciever that wins superbowls, just to spend those on busts? No. You keep them both and draft the correct players to take the franchise to the next step. They have failed in free agency. They have failed in the draft. Should have payed Boldin instead.

Blame the Cardinals, not the player for being so great at what he does. Cardinals have failed big time on this one, and Boldin got his revenge. Not against us, the fans, but at the owners, and maybe most of all, Ken Whisenhunt, and Rod Graves. Not sure they enjoyed to watch the superbowl as much as I did.

Must be a very nice feeling! He deserves it more than anyone.

Boldin over Fitz?

I was happy for Q but I knew him playing well in the SB meant fans would go on these rants about trading Boldin (which was the right move) all summer long. Some of you letting emotion overrule logic is half hilarious/scary. He is not in Larry Fitzgerald's class. Fitz' postseason run in 08' made Boldin's look pedestrian.

It's nothing against Q, buisness is business.

.

Yep

Fitz's stats in that playoff run were legendary...shattering the great Jerry Rices playoff record!!! Larry Legend willed & almost carried the Cards to a title on his back, even gave them the lead with 2:37 left.

Q was & is a great player, but IMO comparing the 2 is almost laughable. Larry's postseason will stand for quite awhile IMO.

Larry 30 rec 546 yds and 7 TDs
Quan 22 rec 380 yds and 4tds

Who in this thread tried to compare Q's post season to Larry's??

Who said Q's was better or even close to being the same? Fitz's was legendary and stands on it's own. Doesn't lessen what Q did. His is still impressive in its own right and lead the league in the 2013 post season. Who cares if it didn't set a record?

I dont see anyone in here saying that it was better than Larry's 2008? Seems like you two are drumming up things that aren't there?

These pro-Boldin/anti-Cardinal rants are because Q had a great postseason. If he had a mediocre one nobody would be getting emotional and saying stuff like "we should've got rid of Fitz instead"...

One person in 6 pages said that. Seems like you guys are being a lil over the top. Just the same as that poster.

Q has always been a difference maker. Nobody runs the slot like he does. So good for you Q. You did us proud and now the Ravens. We are all proud of you.

Wow. Q gets a ring in Baltimore. Why this guy isn't a Card, SMH at the Bidwills.

Q was a superstar all year. Maybe his entire NFL career. Cannot recall if we even had a chance to keep him. With all pro Fitz here he may have wanted the spotlight himself and left no matter what. We sure were not going to give him a giant contract.

Early did say Q was the Cardinals' best WR of all time, which I have some reservations on . Obviously, there is enough passion on both sides of this coin to equal the passion Q has for playing the game regardless of how he might feel about the Cards.

Really, the last year with us he kinda sucked.

He didn't want to be here and you could see it his play and sideline demeanor.

The only black mark on a great career and the one reason I remain luke-warm to him.

84 catches and over 1000 yards sucked? Hmmm...

Should have said "sucked for Q".

  • Down in yards from previous year with 3 more games played;
  • Seven fewer touch-downs;
  • He averaged almost 3 more yards per catch for the Ravens after he left (his YAC and attitude really improved).
  • His rushing attempts diminsh to near zero as he slowed down (average went from 14 to 4 yards per attempt).
