What's the wrong way?

I thought you were going to tell me he'd been named the new GM.

Letting your work visa expire and not caring.

That's a bad way to handle things. First off, you have to force your assistant into a marriage proposal. And, secondly you have to book a flight to Alaska. It's easier to just keep your visa up to date.

Uh, I'm pretty sure you don't become a citizen for that. Perhaps you're unclear on what citizenship means.

I know what citizenship means. Maybe you are unclear of the illegal immigration problem in our country?

Of course not. I asked you what the wrong way to become a citizen is, and you said it's to become an illegal. That makes no sense. Illegals aren't citizens.

How does congratulating someone for going through the citizenhip process turn into such a bizzae debate?

I love political messages thinly veiled as basketball related threads *sarcasm*

I was seriously congratulating him for taking the proper avenues to be in this country.

elindholm's childish questions baited this into a political thread. Get over yourself.

Bzzt. Your original post had a political agenda, which I didn't realize. I thought you were making a point about different paths to citizenship, when in fact you were sideswiping illegal aliens. Had I recognized the intent of your thread in the first place, I never would have bothered responding. The issues with illegal immigration are far too complex to be debated in this kind of setting.

You are so correct. There have always been political refugees that flee their home country and end up becoming U.S. citizens. Such was the case as those who fled communism.

Political refugees vs people exploiting this country by sending money back to mexico are two COMPLETELY different subjects.

Last thing I say politics wise in the Suns forum......tonight.
