Great game by the Suns. They showed so much heart in that game. I am very impressed and deathly afraid of game 7. Looks like the Lakers season is more than likely over.

It's DEFINITELY not over yet. Can anyone say 1981? (Cue BC867.)

I agree. The Lakers did not deserve to win that game. The suns wanted it more, and took it.

Also, the Suns are killing the Lakers on that pick and roll. Switching a center on a guard? Crazy bad defense, and good thing to keep going to it. I doubt the Lakers will ever learn how to not do this.

Plus, it takes Smush completely out of his groove. He can't throw a pea into the ocean if he was standing in it.

I have to say though, the Lakers might have been tough, but to be honest, the Suns will have their hands full against the Clippers.

Clippers are one of the best rebounding teams in the game, and they are even bigger than the Lakers.

Good luck folks.

It is far to early to think about the Clips. Obviously the game Saturday is going to be a war. If the refs continue to call fouls on the Laker thugs, the Suns will have achieved a huge comeback -- but the Suns are far too small if the Lakers get away with some of stuff they've been allowed to do.

Hopefully it'll be a fairly officiated game and the refs will truely let the players decide who wins. If they resort back to the way games 1-3 were called then the Suns are screwed. If they call it like the end of game 4 (1st 3 qtrs reffed well) then the Suns are screwed.

I think the real key is whether or not Elindholm & Jibikao watched the game! :)

the more i think about it, the more i think this series is over. saturday's game for the lakers is a "win or go home game". the suns will make a big run or two and kobe won't be able to stay disciplined enough to keep with the game plan. once the suns start building a bit of a lead, kobe will try and take over the game and play right into the suns' hands.

After game four, I don't see anything as already done.

The Suns have to play like they did tonight to win. I'm just glad we're at home and have the fans behind us.

Lakers played the first four games totally different from the regular season and got 3 of 4. Suns adjusted and they got the next two. Let's see if the Lakers can adjust one more time... I picked the Suns in 6 so am glad that the Lakers have played well the first few games but will be disappointed if the Lakers lose the series after a 3-1 lead.

Yeah, I thought that was the difference tonight. Still though, it took a minor miracle by Thomas to force this to a game 7 so the Lakers will be in the game either way.

My hope is that the supporting cast for the lakers drop an egg again. I actually feel that the best player on either team has been Lamar. He's cooled off considerably as we've been forced to send doubles at him but he's got my respect. He's made a gigantic impact on the game on both ends.

Sounds about right....

For the Laker fans that have managed not to get banned I just want to say thanks.
There have been some good thoughtful posts.

Looking forward to a good game on Saturday.

Whatever happens I think both teams can be proud of the effort in this series.

it was a minor miracle by thomas, but the lakers had chances to stretch their lead, but kobe took a couple of bad shots that helped the suns.

i agree with you about lamar. he has been the best player on either team. i was screaming at my tv to get the ball to lamar in the post. the suns have been doing a good job of doubling him, but he also made a few good moves to either score and get another laker an easy basket. especially with the suns bigs in foul trouble towards the end, i figured the double team might not be as aggressive as normal, but i never got a chance to see this happen.

I think if the Lakers cut down on the three point shots, they're going to be a bear for the Suns.

It's anyone's game. As fans this is all we can ask for. Whoever wins it, this series will go down as a classic. An absolutely amazing series for the first round.

this has been a great series, but the lakers have let me down these last 2 games, not simply because they lost, but its the way they have lost. outside of ronny turiaf and kobe, i don't sense a whole lot of passion and heart from the other laker players. they seem to be timid and afraid. i expected the suns to win this series but i never imagined them having to come back to beat the lakers. watching this team gives me hope about next year, unless kobe reverts to his old ways of shooting too much.

Lamar has been doingwell, and the Suns are doing well trapping him, and getting the ball out of his hands.

It then lands into Smush Parker's hands for a brick. He's got literally *zero* confidence, and the Suns will exploit it even more at home.

It's over for the Lakers.
