I like it. I really do it looks nice. However it should be moved to under the avatar picture. Most people have some sort of saying that goes with their avatar picture. With the contibutor symbol in betwen the two it just doesnt look right or make as much sense IMO.

Is it me, or do contributors have smaller avatars?

I guess not, I guess they just look smaller due to the "contributor" logo.

Look at their shoes and hands. That should tell you whether it's smaller or not.;)

I agree with you guys...I think the Contributor logo might be a better if it was at the BOTTOM of our little informational box, and not the top. Stacking two images on top of each other just doesn't look good.

I do like the logo though, very nice guys.

But what IS the logo? It's very nice, but what does it represent?

Its the symbolf for asfn that Chandler Mike put up quite awhile ago.

If you notice it is in the very top right of the message board and has been long before the switch.

I will never understand artists but the logo is a representation of the "A" for ASFN in white, and the gold wrapping around it is a cactus representing Arizona.

Mike can speak to this better than I can, but he and Skkorp put out a bid on a website to graphic designers to design a logo for the site. There were at least 20-30 submissions. There were a few early versions of this that I hated, but I love the final result.

But in any case, if you don't understand it, it still looks cool.

Well, I knew I'd seen it around here, but just didn't know the story. Thanks. It is pretty cool.

I hate the blue hyperlink around it. It looks so '95.

Maybe just the asfn symbol down by the little man under asfn bucks?
I'm gonna wait to contribute until it changes, right now it's a little too gaudy.

Vegas, baby, yeah!
I may be way out of bounds here, but has any thought been given to having different levels based upon contribution amounts that could be reflected in the logo?

Just curious.

Sorry for not replying sooner.

Let me check what control we have on the position of the Contributor Medal but I believe we can move it down. I agree it shouldn't be between the avatar and the text beneath the user-name.

Thanks.
