Awful news for the team. Feel really bad for the young man, too. :(

Gotta drop this four-game preseason schedule, already.

After seeing Mendenhall, Roberts and Housler all get hurt, I said the same exact thing to my wife.

The Cooper injury was the icing on the cake.

Four is too many.

Out for the season?

What part of the leg? A femur? Tib/Fib, just a fib? was it midshaft or distal/proximal? Who knows. You can come back fro a fib in 6-8 weeks, a Tib/fib around 4-5 months, and a femur puts you out for the season. Hard to tell.

This is one of the most crushing nights I have had as a Cardinals fan.. and given this team's history, that is really saying something!

Based off of this I am hoping it is just the fib and that is what others seem to believe it is.

Sux about Cooper! He's the glue already.

The OL didn't look good out there. Neither did anyone else particularly (obviously) . They took it to us in all three phases.

Campbell said after the game, that they can clean stuff up, that this was the right time (if any) to have a bad game. It's a big eye opener for them.

On a more positive note, we have some depth at RB finally. Williams looks like he's back.

Really liked the running game tonight and it looked good for all 4 quarters. It's amazing how good a running back can look with a little bit of space to make plays. Was very impressed with Alphonso tonight.

Yeah, Alphonso probably sticks on the team. Mendenhall might not start the season now, we'll see. But we still have four legit NFL caliber rushers on the roster. That's something to build on and we may have to lean on it more this year cause they STILL can not pass block. HUGE ISSUE for this team moving ahead!!!

If its just the fib and its non-displaced he could be cleared to play again in a bit over 6 weeks, I've broken that one and if its not too severe it takes about a month to heal enough to walk without protection on it.

Same ol' Cardinals. Devastating injuries, devastating loss, devastating this, devastating that.

Bottom line is this guy won't be a factor this year. It sucks. Without an above average line Palmer is nothing more than a sitting duck.

At least this happened in week 3 of the preseason. Now if we get to 6 wins on the year I can feel like we exceeded my expectations.

In between wondering how many hands it would take to count Levi false starts tonight, I wondered what hammer would drop on us...boom. Cooper. He went down, I sat down...was not shocked it is bad.

Can someone post link confirming fubula??

I was at the game tonight and that ruined all my optimism for the season if he is only going to miss 8 weeks i can live with it.

From internet research, its about a 4-8 week injury if the bone is not dispaced and its just a crack. As long as its not too bad, he will be back week 8-10 id say...

The game sucked and the text near the end of it about Cooper's leg made it even worse. We knew it was bad when we saw it live. Right away thought ACL.
