I have to agree with the coaches on this. Cooper is cementing his bust status this year. The only time he sticks out is when he messes up.

Why not just start Watford in Cooper's place......

Larsen is atrocious.

What makes it even better is that he's going up against Aaron Donald this week. Yippe!

Really? Thats quit amazing and makes me wonder how this staff evaluates OL.. Larsen is not better than Cooper and you will never convince me otherwise.

At times, Cooper has been the best overall lineman, including better than Iupati and Veldheer. This makes little sense unless they're trying to further motivate him.

Larsen is hot garbage. Good luck with that Rams line.

The only time linemen stick out is when they whiff on a block or get called for a penalty. It's happened with cooper, but not more frequent than most other players.

Does he mean playing better right now because Cooper is not healthy, or better than Cooper was before?

Seems awfully coincidental that we can't run without Cooper and can with him but maybe that's about CJ and Iupati not being 100% yet.

Hmm I thought Coop was improving well this year. Larsen isn't bad. We have had much much worse depth

Jesus. What a freaking bust. The fact that it's even a discussion is sad because Larsen sucks. The 8th pick in the draft should be heads and tails over Larsen.

That's a joke. I have to disagree with BA on this one. Larson is not better than Cooper or Watford. BA must have been smoking some of D-Washington's stash.

Cooper has been one of our top OL this year and it is painfully obvious as once he was injured we have NO running game all of a sudden.

So he's been a healthy scratch the last couple of weeks?

He only practiced once last week, this sunday would be the first shot he has at being a healthy scratch. Maybe his injury isnt very bad and hes just not toughing it out and thats why arians is unhappy

I'm not sure if BA means this week or season long on this, hard to tell the context from Darren's tweet.

Somers has a little more context:

Arians said Cooper will continue to back up Larsen. Larsen is playing better, he says. Still optimistic about Coops future

Jurecki:

BA; Jonathan Cooper moving around well, close to full strength, Larsen will continue to start at RG.

Larsen's head was on a swivel Sunday. He was constantly looking back at Palmer.

Still trying to wrap my head around this:

So Cooper is getting benched, but Massie gets to keep his job worry free.

yeah... I don't really get it. What I don't get even more is how DOMINANT the O-line looked with Coop and Watford in there before Massie came back. Yes, the schedule was cream puffy, but they were still mauling people in the running game and giving Palmer all day to throw and there were massive differences in the two Niner games if that's any comparison.

Is this a joke? Cooper has been excellent and our running game disappeared the second he went out. HMM. What a coincidence.

Larsen is total garbage and anyone care to remind us all what Ted Larsen's terrible play against the Rams did to Drew Stanton last year?

Keim has really missed on drafting the position he once played... Offensive Line.

This is how I feel. I prefer ed Watford at RT. And you can't say Larsen is better than cooper.

Cooper has to be still injured and after Larsen's sucky outing against the Niners... Arians must be trying some Jedi mind trick with Ted lol
