Sounds like Bledsoe injury insurance. Could the injury be worse than originally reported or could trade be in the works.

"Coro and Gambo Report Suns to....."

Trade for Kevin Love. (Is what I was hoping.)

Damn you ASFN and your teasing thread titles on the main forum page.

It would make some sense if Bledsoe were part of such a trade.

Regardless, I will be happy to see LB back in a Suns uniform. I really like him as a person and a player. The Suns practically raised him.

The Spurs-busting Dragic/ Barbosa backcourt is back!

But seriously, I'm happy to see him back in Phoenix.

I wonder if he learned how to defend once he got away from D'Antoni (and Gentry)...

this site is a pain in the butt... everytime I refresh it, I have to log in again!

Nice to see LB return, hopefully this system will allow him to contribute.

Maybe you are not pressing the "remember me?" box besides your sign-in. This could explain it.

He's been rendered ineffective by injuries the last couple of years, but maybe the Suns' training staff can work some short-term magic. He should get a nice reception if he takes the floor, anyway.

I didn't see such a box to click... doesn't mean it wasn't there, of course... anyway it remembered me this time. I feel like part of the family again... sigh..

Good for you.

However there is a "Remember Me?" check box beside where you sign in. Years ago I used to get disconnected regularly until I started checking it. You might look for it in the future.

I found it! Knowing it was there was a big help. Thanks. Oh, I checked it, too!

He did spend some time in Indiana so who knows.

I hope he learned to cut down on his turnovers. That's what bothered me most about Barbosa.

I love Barbosa as much as the next guy, but this is a super puzzling move. We've got a lot of usable bodies in the backcourt so bringing Barbosa either signals another move, or we're sending someone down to the d-league. In the 2 backcourt positions we have Dragic, Bledsoe, Ish, Green, Goodwin, Christmas. I guess Christmas and Green could slide to the 3 spot in some lineups, but Christmas doesn't really see the court anyways.

I'd be ok with sending Goodwin down to the d-league actually, he really needs to get more on court reps. Ideally it would be preferable to have it at the NBA level but with the postseason looking somewhat likely, maybe they wanted more of a veteran presence in those minutes.

I would have much rather have a legitimate back up C to Plumlee as Len insurance but I guess they think Okafor still has a chance to play this season?

Heh, I totally forgot about Kratsov. I've seen nothing from Kratsov that convinces me he has a long term future in the NBA.

I like LB, but I am not all that excited about getting him back.

I am all in for the young guys and would love for Archie to get more minutes in Eric's absence, even if it costs us some games.

My only exception would be if they think that LB is a better Ish Smith. Ish is not necessarily part of our future so replacing Ish with LB is probably not a big deal.

Except I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that we don't want to do anything that "costs us some games". We are officially in the playoff race, I seriously think the time of not caring about winning is long past.

I don't think Barbosa will necessarily take away from Archie's minutes. As I view it, the Suns want to have another PG/combo guard if Bledsoe or Dragic go down, which is now the case again with Bledsoe. The Suns like to play with two PGs whether it be Dragic and Bledsoe or I can see Smith and Barbosa getting some time together. I think Hornacek will put Archie in the game whenever there is an opportunity.

Where are people hearing this? Everything I've been told is Okafor has remained in NY, not with the team, and doesn't have any real ambition to ever play a minute for the Suns. Maybe that's changed, but I haven't heard anything.

I've heard nothing to suggest this situation has changed, just pure speculation on my part.

What I understand, Okafor is still rehabing in NY. However, after listening to Paul Coro this morning, the Suns plan to touch base with him in NY on their Eastern road trip. It didn't sound like anything is brewing at the moment.
