Countdown to Draft Day

With the Darksiders already declaring this FA season a bust for the Cards, I suppose all we have to look foward to is Draft Day which should start at the end of this......

Yay! And if Graves messes up the draft, we can actually blame him without a doubt Poor rookies, they can't say, "No, I don't want to be a Cardinal"... well they can, but not really... sort of...

Well we know with the draft the Cardinals have to add players on those days (unlike free agency when you race to your p.c. each day looking for any info about who signed today).

Using the War Room Top 99 Board, and who'd be still available when we pick, I come away with:

Round One - Sean Taylor

Round Two - Rashaun Woods

Round Three - Isaac Sopoaga

Note - I based 2nd & 3rd round picks on best players available at positions of need. (Taylor is an exception - however this is assumes that those Pro Day red flags turning out to be bogus).

I felt Woods was better at his position than any of the corners who were still available. Ditto re Sopoaga vis a vis available corners at #66.

Moral - We sure as hell better solve our corner problem in free agency.
