Countdown to the Rosen era

was watching NFLN and the guy said something that surprised me.

he said he hears we will be running open competition for the starting QB spot.

considering its an entirely new offense for all of our QB's... I think Rosen has a fair shot of actually starting week 1

I mean, I wouldnt start him until Bradfords knee goes in week two....but with open competition he has a chance

Jim Rome had a analyst on this morning and he guaranteed Rosen would start week 1 over Bradford, I kind of find that hard to believe.... Stranger things have happened though.

I really hope he doesn't start week 1. If not, why did we spend $20 million on Bradford?

Let him sit half the year at least to learn.

if he is ready he is ready. But I would probably make him sit a few games anyway. Pac 12 is a decent conference but the nfl is still faster. might do him some good to see it from the sidelines before he sees it coming to kill him

Kind of a crazy situation. I really don’t want Rosen to start unless he makes it impossible with his preseason. But if Bradford is healthy and spinning it good and we are winning....then we will be happy. We won’t really be clamoring for josh.... right?
