According to Tulumello in the East Valley Tribune. Also, fewer than 600 season tickets remain. Looks like the season will sell out after all.

Also, interesting little blurb about Wilson at the end of the article. He appears to be pissed off too. I can't recall him ever refusing to answer questions.

What is it with the state of the NFL?

That is J-Kwon, not 50 Cent.

I think Wilson is on a mission. He thinks he has never received the National attention he deserves and is frustrated by losing so much of last year due to injury. He is not happy with his contract, but I bet his attitude is to be the best Safety in the league and then let the chips fall where they may. He doesn't want to talk, he wants to dominate, and then get paid. Just my opinion, but I commend him for not complaining to the media.

On Saturday, Wilson performed all of his stretching and warm up away from the rest of the team. He was down on the opposite end by himself.

Yep, he's ticked off. Hopefully he keeps his mouth shut, unlike Boldin, and lets it all out on the field.

Lets just trade him, Boldin, and Dockett. Should be able to infuse the line-up with some talent if we purged those 3.

Didn't we do that between the 2002 and 2003 seasons? Had one of our better years in 2003 if I recall. :billthecat:

I dont recall trading any players with the talent core of those three. Wasnt 2003 our worst season like ever?

We didn't trade 'em but we lost 'em and they probably weren't as talented but were instrumental to the team. David Boston, Frank Sanders, Jake Plummer, Martay Jenkins, Thomas Jones and Kwamie Lassiter all left. In addition to decimating the offense we had probably the worst group of defensive players ever assembled by an NFL team.

Yet surprisingly the team wasn't as bad as the 3-13 2000 team that quit on Tobin and McGinnis and was outscored 443-210. But, As we all know that 2003 team finished dead last in points scored and points allowed. Yet another dubious achievement by the little Red.

You know whats sad? That whole group combined didnt have as much talent as any of the three were talking about now has in their little pinky! :)

I think what is really sad is that we cant even be the best at losing. We havent had the 1st pick in the draft in over 50 years if I remember correctly.

Hey if they go 5-11 this year the Cards will have exactly 100 losses in the 21st century.
