We must be in the future now, 'cause every sports stadium looks like something out of star wars.

Seriously, that thing probably has a laser that can destroy a planet. :jedi:

Nonsense. Cowpatties, pukes, felons, they all fit. Jackass Jones is a pretentious egomaniacal fraud. Too stupid and selfish to realize and keep the small market teams competitive.

Sports hatred are fun and often justified.

I don't get the exterior video screen? Won't most people be in their seats, and unable to see it? Seriosly, who will be watching it, people who didn't buy a ticket?

It seems like a huge waste of money.

We sponsor the Cowpies in Dallas and Jerry is going to sell tickets for people outside (either 10,000 or 20,000) to tailgate and watch the game while outside, in an assigned area. The dude is all about $$$!!!
I hate 'em!!!!

i dunno.... I think it IS a beautiful stadium but I think UOP is just as significant and pleasing to the eye as this one.

You gotta remember.....the renderings are ALWAYS nicer looking than the actual finished product. To me its a very nice stadium but nothing that is breaking the mold. The screen on the putside is a great idea though....... Cards should have done that. LOL

It's so awsome that they need to charge rediculous seat licenese fees to cover some of that extravagence. The fans so far are overwhelmingly opposed to those exhorbitant fees and I don't blame them. Jones ups the anty w/o reguard to loyal ticket holders of the past. So as far as Jones is concerned, yeah he's a turd owner of the Cowturds.

Tom Hicks, the owner of the Rangers, is also putting in money to have a huge shopping center built inbetween the Rangers and new Cowboys stadium that is going to include bowling alleys and movie theatres and such... Kinda like what the Coyotes and Cardinals have except probably bigger. That area around the two stadiums is going to grow a lot. We went there last year to see the Rangers and it was such a neat area. It was basically like a MLB stadium in the middle of a suburb, there was an apartment complex maybe 100 yards from the Rangers stadium and a Wal-Mart down the street it just had a unique feeling like you were in an everyday suburban area and then you see a stadium like that. The Rangers stadium is amazing but I'm going to miss the suburban feeling to that area since it's going to grow and grow in the very near future.

Impressive stadium, the screens in the middle of the field look impressive. But, wouldn't it be in danger of a high punt hitting it?

Probably not, it is going to be 110 feet above the ground, or about 3 green monsters. That's pretty high and I don't know how high the average punt gets but I doubt it's anywhere near 110 feet.

I don't know about you guys but I think that big scoreboard is a disaster waiting to happen.

Maybe it's just me.

Thanks for the back up Skorp and PortlandCardFan,for a minute I thought this board was going PC.

We've got your back, man. nidan is there too.

I will relish, until the day I die, the memory of the cowsum who got in my wife's face, screaming obscenities and was hauled out by security, as the goal posts disappeared into the Tempe night when we beat Dallas.
