I watched the 3rd period tonight, but I don't know watch enough to know why these guys are respectable now. I got the sense that they were unlucky earlier in the year and maybe now it's just normalizing. They are fun to watch when they aren't leaking goals at critical moments.

Yeah, they seem to have turned that proverbial corner in 2018 so far. Beating both Tampa and Vegas in their houses is damn impressive. Could give us fans hope for next year.

New coach, new system, very young players, key injuries, and weak goaltending all added to the horrendous start.

The Lightning came out thinking they were going to coast over us and got a wake up call, but the Vegas team was pushing hard and that one really stands out to me. Add to that we were missing two of our top four D in those two games and I feel damn good about our chances next year.

Stay the course. He'll be fine. Wouldn't be able to net any return at this point anyway. The effort is there and he's an amazing kid off the ice.

I meant with re-signing him. He's a RFA after the season.

He should be reasonable. He seems to like it here, and he had a rough year stats wise. I doubt anyone will offer the moon for him at this point. He may question the long term health of the franchise which I wouldn't blame him for.

I'm more concerned with Raanta as a UFA. His stats since he got back are great. Health is his concern.

Don't look now but Max Domi has four goals and 12 points in March. He had 5 goals in the first 5 months of the season. Now up to 9 goals and 30 assists.

This was the most fun I've had at GRA in a looooong time. Huge crowd. Raanta put on a clinic.

There were lots of blue sweaters and other than a "Let's go Blues" chant in the first couple of minutes of the game, they had absolutely nothing to say the rest of the game. I've always said that if the Yotes want to see more AZ jerseys in the stands, win the games where half the crowd is for the opponent. Eventually they'll get tired of having on the losing color and make a change.
