The Suns lost two players in this trade. Now they need to find a way to make up for it at least one.
Maybe they trade down in the draft.

I think players care more about whether you are able to build a winning team or not. There was no bad faith here.Thats true and players notice how you treat your players
athleticism is about more than running and jumping of course; coordination and timing are components of athleticism and he has both in spades; he’s also obviously an above average twitch guy
Booker seems NOT MAD about this tho
please proceed Governor
Wait until he finds out we still only have 4/5 of a starting line-up...
Thing with Mikal is that he's great without being an elite athlete. The guys arms are so freaking long, it makes up more than enough for any lack of athleticism.yeah... an elite athletes have ALL OF THAT. That’s what makes them elite. Mikal doesn’t have elite speed/explosion. That’s why he’s not an elite athlete.
It’s okay to just admit you’re wrong about something. It won’t mean you’re automatically wrong about everything.
If the Suns do this deal now, they will be operating as an over-the-cap team in FA. Wouldn't that make retaining Saric and/or Baynes actually easier because of Bird Rights? I'm not cap guru, so I'm not sure.

But let's not mistake, you don't have to be an "elite" athlete to be a star in this league.
The Bird Rights extend just as much if the cap space is spent in free agency first. James Jones just gave away $16 million in cap space.
okay, well that’s stupid.

We know for a fact they weren't going to retain Baynes as long as they were below the cap. Now does this possibly change that?correct (also Carter)
And would allow for full MLE and RE to add a couple more rotation pieces
First of all, YUCK.Why do I have this feeling that Paul has recruited Carmelo Anthony to play with him?

Second of all, where did this feeling come from?
derp
Pretty sure you don't understand the cap. And that's saying a lot considering how much I don't understand it.OR we could (and should) use the $16 million in cap space first to sign our much-needed starting power forward, THEN do the trade, THEN use the full MLE and RE to add a couple more rotation pieces.
you think it’s smart to do the deal now instead of having it set in place but not officially pulling the trigger now so you can also spend 17 million in FA?
If that’s the cAse, it’s even dumber than your Mikal is an elite athlete take.
