Bradford + 20m
Glennon + 3-4m (year 1)
Bynes + 3 mil (year 1)
—————
Mathieu - 4m
Veldheer - 7m

What was their cap space # before FA and did it account for rookie cap hits?

Those numbers may be lower this year depending on bonus and structure.

They're somewhere at $22-25mil in space, but those will change over the next day or so as more things happen, obviously.

Bradford is only $15mil guaranteed. The other $5mil are incentives.

Just wait 'til next year.

Things will change, but we might have the most space. Right now we're projected to be #3, but the Jets have a bunch to spend this year, so they will probably drop from #1, even if they're projected to have 130+, I think they currently had 90-100 a couple of days ago. So if they spend a bunch this year, quite a bit of that won't be there for next year, assuming a bunch of multi-year deals.

Then we were only like 1 million behind the #2.

Also, to put it in context, we have about 40 million more then the league average, and about 103 million before any of the OL moves , not sure about rookie pool, but also any raise in cap next year isn't factored in either.

Conversely we have a ton of roster spots open, and it assumes Bradford and Fitz aren't here .

Nevertheless, it's a ton to work with.

The rookie pool will be about $6.6 mil. They’re right, without knowing the contract structure, it’s hard to read available cap. I don’t get cutting TM before 6/1. Still possible Buc get gone or lowered. Same with Iupati.

They'd have to carry the salary until 6/1, which would have reduced their FA pool, right?

Iupati, check.

My understanding from initial reports was the $15mil was salary; meaning no signing bonus. If they can spread some out, all the better. But, I'd rather there not be any on the books past 2018. 2019 being an option.

I'm not sure but HB was gaurenteed if on the roster after yesterday so we didnt have a choice to wait. Also, I could be wrong but they have the option to designate a cut as "June 1st" as opppsed to waiting until then. I think this is something the players wanted to allow them more time to get deals after being cut. Could be wrong though

I thought incentives had to be counted against the cap?
