Pretty sure they are using PFF rankings to make this. Calais is the only sure fire "elite" player on our roster when going by last year's PFF rankings.

Can you show me the stats that back up Larry being "elite" anything over the last 2 seasons? I can't? He is certainly not in a Megatron category??

I would like to see Megatrons numbers with Kolb, Skelton, DA, & Max Hall throwing to him.

Last year he was learning a new offense/positions & had a new QB (that was still learning the offense) throwing to him so he gets a pass for that.

Nope no pass. He had Skelton and Kolb throwing to him the year he amassed 1400+ yards. So that excuse is bogus IMO. He had more targets on anyone on the team by far and even with Carson Palmer couldn't break 1000 yards.

I think its time to just succumb to the fact that he just could be declining. He is still very good but he isn't ELITE.

If defenses continue to focus their coverage on Larry in 2014 they'll turn around and see Ted Ginn Jr. or John Brown in the end zone.

We got a taste of the Bruce Arians offense last season with an inferior offensive line and inferior speed receivers in Golden and Williams. We'll get the full-featured B.A. offense in 2014 with better O-line protection and up to three legitimate deep threats in Ginn, Brown and Walter Powell. Larry should see and exploit more one-on-one opportunities if those deep threats materialize.
