wherr do you think we will be drafting when the season is over? We need these teams below us to start winning.

We’re probably going to stay at 5.
We’re going to beat Oakland & lose against everyone else

NYG, BUF, & OAK are going to lose out.

I think SF wins a few more with the QB change & CLE loses out with their difficult down the stretch schedule so they’ll switch.

I think the standings takes a drop off after the last 7. Oak and NYG will most likely be #1 and #2. #3-#7 can be any of SF, CLE, AZ, BUF and NYJ.

So #7 at best/worst. There are 4 elite DL and 1-2 Elite OL in the draft and have to expect that Herbert will be taken in the top 5.

So one of the Top 6 linemen should be there at a minimum. If not - the top WR or CB should be.

don't look now -- but the Jets, Browns and Lions -- all with 3 wins, appear in free fall

Lets say the Cards beat the Raiders and Lions at home, finish 4-12

there are 7 teams with 3 wins above the Cards -- its not out of the realm that a 4 win team could end up drafting out of the top 10. Wouldn't that stink

We have a good shot for winning two more games (Oakland/Detroit) which would gives us a 4-12 record. Only the Raiders have a higher pick sewn up, but I have hope for NYG, Buf, SF, and Cleveland.

I think they’ll be closer to 10. I think they’ll win 3-4 more games and draft 8-10.

Rosen improves and so does leftwich. They’ll beat Oak, Det, and Seattle. Getting a 4th will be tough but there’s usually a goofy upset somewhere along the line.

i prefer drafting at 10th cause will indicate the rosen will make the progress we expecting him to do
then i am for drafting nkeal harry, so the 10 pick is the perfect landing spot for him

I was really just hoping we would have a tradeable pick. But every team that needs a qb will be worse than us....minus Denver.

If we’re in the position to get them, why trade back when there are elite players on the board like Bosa, Oliver, & Quinnen?

We don’t have a “good” shiot of beating anyone. Yeah, anything is possible, but not a good shot. But in Cards fashion we will win 5 and reach in the draft. I hope not but I have zero confidence in Keim drafting well in that position.

Chubb fell to #5 this year. Anything is possible.

I was hoping teams that needed a qb would want to trade up with us.

The round robin of ineptitude (bad teams playing bad teams) that is the NFL season prevents all but the most pathetic from not garnering a handful of wins.

I'm going with seventh overall for the Birds.

^ They have already picked up the 5th year option on DJ Humphries and you don't take a right tackle in the top ten. So no badly needed line help coming.

The Cardinals will pick somewhere in the top 10 next year. I'm guessing somewhere around 4-7.

Here are the Major moves that I think the Cardinals should make:

Free Agency:

Markus Golden - DE - If Golden stays healthy the rest of the year and finishes strong then I would love to have him back. The kid is a baller who gives it his all on every play. You can never have enough of those type of players on your team.

Quinton Spain - LG - This will be Mike Iupati's last season with the Cardinals. Spain would be the best choice to replace him and would instantly be the starter at LG.

Daryl Williams - RT - The current coaching staff is very familiar with Williams as he currently plays for the Panthers. He wouldn't be cheap but would be a major upgrade at RT. Protecting Rosen should be a top priority!

Grady Jarrett - DT - The Robert Nkimdiche experiment has blown up in Keims face IMO. It's time to get a dominate player who can be trusted to do his job. Jarrett would be another pricey addition but would make the DL of Jones, Peters, Jarrett and Golden one of the best in the league.

Tyrell Williams - WR - This former UDRFA for the Chargers has improved each and every year he has been in the league. He would be a solid #2 or #3 WR on a team where that position has suddenly become a weakness. Tyrell will give Rosen another weapon he desperately needs.

2019 NFL DRAFT:

Round 1: Quinnen Williams - NT - Alabama: Corey Peters is one of the most undervalued players on the Cardinals. However he is going to be 31 years old with 2 years remaining on his contract. Drafting Williams will give him the opportunity to learn from Peters as well as make an already dominate DL on paper that much better. In year one Williams will be a rotational player with Peters keeping them fresh. He will also be in during all short yardage/goal line situations. By year two Williams should be starting, with Peters seeing less of a work load. This gives the Cardinals Jones and Golden reeking havoc on the outside, with Jarrett and Williams providing a push up the middle.

Round 2: Germaine Pratt - LB - NC State: Pratt is a tackling machine with good size and speed. The Cardinals desperately need help at LB and Pratt would give them another weapon.

niners just took mcglinchey top 10 didnt they?? he is doing pretty well at RT for them.
but on the surface I agree,...which is why I would select a guy who can be moved to LT if DJ continues to be a borderline LT

I can tell you right now there’s no way in hell we’re getting Grady Jarrett. I’m 99% sure the Falcons are going to give him an extension.

I love everything else. Though, I think that’s too early for Pratt & would go Safety or WR before ILB imo.

Drafting by position is a recipe for disaster. That is how you get Levi turnstile Brown over AD. IMO you fill your needs in free agency so that you can draft the best players available regardless of position.
