Long time Phoenician!
It's too bad that Curt Schilling can't enjoy his success with the Red Sox without dissing the D'backs.
As reported in today's Arizona Republic:
Don't burn your bridges, Curt. Someday it may catch up with you.
As reported in today's Arizona Republic:
Not quite sure what to make of a comment Curt Schilling made in Boston after he and the rest of the Red Sox received their World Series rings on Monday.
According to the Boston Globe, Schilling wore his new ring on the same hand as the ring he received after helping the Diamondbacks beat the Yankees for the title in 2001.
The Globe reported that Schilling looked at Boston's ring, which is bigger, and called it "the A ring", then looked at Arizona's ring and called it "the B ring" ...
One Bank One Ballpark insider wasn't as gracious (as Luis Gonzalez, who reacted, "That's his opinion ..."), and offered the following zinger: "Ours has an A (on it) and theirs has a B.", he noted.
The (expletive) guy must be dyslexic."
Don't burn your bridges, Curt. Someday it may catch up with you.
