Well I guess they will try to get LT to the PS. I bet he gets picked up.

I'm not the best at this stuff but I thought another team can sign another teams practice squad player so long as they put them on their 53 man roster. If so, even of LT makes it to the practice squad he can be claimed by another team if they put him on their 53 man roster. Am I right?? I understand the player has to approve the move.

So far---correct about Hughes, Lasike, Shaughnessy and Sims.

Incorrect about T Bradley Sowell, as BA just said Sowell and Humphries will be swing tackles, with Watford starting at RT game one.

Man, Sowell has been almost the epitome of poor the past two weeks. I thought for sure he would get waived.

I would change that from the past two weeks to since he has been a Cardinal, but that's JMHO.

My guess is that BA has a soft spot for Sowell and they need depth until Massie comes back from suspension. My question is has Sowell been in the league long enough to be guaranteed his money for the year if he is on the roster in week 1? If yes then I cut him and feel fairly safe that no other team claims him.

If a team offers to sign a player on another team's PS to a spot on their 53 man roster, that player can accept the offer immediately. If the team the player is on, offers a promotion to the 53 man roster in order to match the other team's offer, then the player has the choice to stay with the team he's been on, or go to the other team.

The Cardinals did this with Ryan Lindley last year---they signed him off of SD's PS. SD didn't want to promote him to their 53 man roster, so they didn't give Lindley the choice.

So basically it sounds like the player on a practice squad is a FA. I think this was discussed somewhere else as well. So if the Cardinals are not willing to place LT on their 53 man roster he is fair game for another team.

I read somewhere that there is some thought that the Cardinals might keep LT on their 53 man roster as a TE with the injuries to this position.

Every player cut is fair game to sign to the active roster for every other team for the 48 hours waiver period and the new team holds the Rights to that player. When a player is on a PS another team Can put in a request to sign a player to the active roster, but in that situation the player Can decide to sign or not with the new team

I don't understand keeping Golden over Shipley.

Golden is faster but that's literally the only thing he has over Shipley.

So who is at the bottom that is likely to get bumped by any acquisitions?

Chris Clemons
Brittan Golden
Kenny Demens (of any LB)
Bradley Sowell (replaced by Massie in a few weeks)

Has anyone on the coaching staff or front office ever said a word about Thomas being a tight end?? If so I've never heard it.

I hope kerwynn stays on the squad could be a goner.
I really liked Shipley but some other team will take a hard look
Brooks is an up and comer played well pre season
HJQ is a keeper.
What happened to Jimmy legreer?

I'm shocked and glad that both qb's are gone. Everyone roots for the underdog as I do bye Sims!
