Strangest setup for a series I've ever seen. Scheduled double-header followed by a day off then two in Arlington.

At any rate, the D-Backs need to be focused because Ron Washington brought a little extra motivation for his team.

Good Luck to Tyler who is making his season debut against a really tough Rangers lineup

Skaggs doing well despite a horrible mustache.

Funny you guys noticed that. I've been thinking the same thing all game.

What was that RP's name we had, a lefty I think with the ridiculous stache? He was from Illinois I believe.

Anyway, Skaggs has been very impressive. I really hope the pen can hold this.

I'm just amazed that the American Mustache Institute is apparently a real thing.

Also, for a catcher Nieves isn't painfully slow

I'd like to see him start more over Montero the way things are going for him so far....

Skaggs has had two good outings going back to his last one at AAA (20k in 13 innings). If the 'stache is the source of his newfound confidence he should keep it

I was worried that the third time around the lineup, hitters were going to figure Skaggs out and be more patient with the slow curve. But they continued to think they could hit the snot out of it. Dude made Beltre look like a fool.

Anyone know the status of Prado's knee? Dude finally found his groove Nd takes a nasty shot off the side of his knee.
