We are down to the final game of the Division I high school girls basketball season.
It's No. 1 St. Johnsbury (21-1) battling No. 3 Burlington (18-4) with a trophy on the line. Can the Hilltoppers win their first championship since 2019 or will the Seahorses claim their first trophy since 1976?
A Burlington win would be a sweep of both boys and girls basketball D-I titles becoming the 11th school to do that. The last school to do that was Champlain Valley in 2023.
Tip off is scheduled for 5 p.m. Saturday at Patrick Gym.
