Doubleheaders have worked out pretty dandy for the Norwell High boys and girls basketball teams this winter.
The Norwell faithful is hoping to celebrate two wins on Friday, as both the girls and boys basketball compete in the MIAA Division 3 state championships at the Tsongas Center in Lowell.
The Norwell girls kick off the action at 6:15 p.m. against St. Mary's of Lynn in the first of 10 Massachusetts basketball state championships on the weekend. The Norwell boys follow at 8 p.m. against Old Rochester Regional.
