its ironic that washington was one of the guys the org kept referring to as a level headed leader to keep mathieu's head on straight.

From a non-football standpoint, I will wait for more details and evidence before commenting. It is not fair to either party involved to pass judgement until it all comes out. From a football standpoint, we are looking at another 6-8 game suspension if the allegatiions are true. I have a feeling that Kiem is already working the phones knowing that rookies cannot be counted on to fill that void.

Domestic violence is one of those "guilty until proven innocent" crimes, especially if it's a male perpetrator and a female victim. Guilty or not, I'm sure the police and the court will railroad him into some sort of "confession" or plea bargain.

It is said , it's much more important how you get up from life knocking you down , than how life knocked you down . I know it is still early here , but at first glance he doesn't seem to be getting up well from his suspension . If this shows to be true , it's almost certain to be more suspension .

I do know this. A lot of athletes are not too bright and the hot chicks they tend to attract are psychos after some fame and fortune. Yes, there are exceptions to both sides of this but it is what it is. So with this in mind, I think I'm going to wait and see before making any judgment on Washington removed from the pot incident.

I will wait to see what happens before I pass judgement.

On a seperate note, it doesn't surprise me when NFL LBers get violence charges. To play LB in the NFL you have to be super agressive and be wired a bit differently. This is not an excuse by any means, but it makes it less surprising to me.

Huh? This makes no sense, unless they send the SVU team to interrogate him.

this seriously sucks if true. and if true...after being a big enough idiot to fail durg tests MULTIPLE times to get suspended for 4 games, if he tacks on beating a woman to that rap, I don't want any part of that kind of idiot on our team. Again, this is assuming what happened tonight IS TRUE.

Yep starting to look like D Wash is way down the wrong path and really needs to wake up.

If she really has marks on her throat there's not a lot of other explanations than he choked her and that's domestic violence.

Obviously we don't know the whole story but unless she was trying to kill him I can't imagine a scenario where a 240 pound NFL player chokes a woman and he's being railroaded into anything?

Ex girlfriend which we know nothing of her character and really do not know anything of Washington's other than he likes pot. Washington is not the only human being with two hands that could leave marks and not the only man on the planet who could be involved with this woman...but he is one with money :)

I think if this were a 49er LB being suspended 4 games and now this that we'd have a totally different tone.
