My first thought was that I remember Fitz's ex, the Oakland Cheerleader, getting a restraining order against him and all of us jumping to conclusions. That turned out to be a non-story and I hope this is a similar circumstance.

That being said, this is two strikes against DWash in a very short span of time. I hope it isn't true, but I get the feeling this won't be the last time we hear about him being involved in some sort of incident.

I think if this were a 49er LB being suspended 4 games and now this that we'd have a totally different tone.

Depends on which linebacker. If this were Patrick Willis, who is the best comparison to D-Wash, the tone would be pretty bleak for 9er fans. D-Wash is our best linebacker by a country mile, and losing his leadership, speed, and tackling skills is going to have a significant impact on the overall production of the defense.

I am pretty sure my tone would be no different. I refuse to rush judgement until all the fact are out in any case like this. Domestic Violence is terrible and if guilty the person deserves harsh punishment. At the same time, rushing to judgement either way can have long term effects on both sides no matter how it turns out.

What leadership? The defense elected Paris Lenon team captain over Washington last season, and Washington hasn't worn the green dot on his helmet to call plays, which forced us to keep Lenon on the field on passing downs last year.

That being said, I'll wait and see on the Washington thing, but it's a little concerning that the Phoenix PD are apparently out looking to talk to D-Wash, and he's nowhere to be found.

That was way different though. In the Fitz sorry, she got it three months after the alleged altercation, which happened to be right before his first playoff game. Nothing ever came of it and from what I recall there was never even a police investigation. In this case, the police were called and physical evidence was present. The Fitz story was fishy from the start, this one appears to have enough to warrent a real investigation to determine the truth.

Agree. I am hoping she's another nut job looking for a payday. I want to give DWash the benefit of the doubt, but it seems like her bruises, coupled with the PD's inability to find him, sure paint a convincing argument that he did it. And if he did, he should pay big time.

It makes my blood boil. Domestic Violence may be the most cowardly crime there is. Or at least its up there.

DV is a far too often common occurance, sadly today.

It's not only DV towards women either. Although men are very much more hesitant to notify authorities obviously.

Whatever happened although sad, how he handles it from this point is what makes the person. Not JUST a certain negative event.

Sadly it can happen to any of us. They way teens answer parents, and a general lack of respect eminating throughout culture. There are many things that cross over the line now and words are one of the biggies as well.

Lies and deciet along with disrespect carry just as much damage to people. Unacountability for one's own overall actions and just pointing fingers when all you want is individual accountability during a disagreement. It always takes two is what I'm getting at.

That said, you have to take responsability for your own wrongs.

He's gonna be another guy with the story

I could have been great....but

This story isn't over and bet there are more to come.
He doesn't understand consequences

I'll bet $200 against anyone alcohol was involved. He can't get messed up on pot so he's drinking more now.

People are already jumping to conclusions that he is guilty, which is understandable, but the bold is absolutely ridiculous, and the rationale is even worse.

Considering Alcohol is apart of the the program he has been in and is still in, I certainly hope not, otherwise he sits for a year.

bet on it

why do you think he's hiding? I'm sure you could make up scenarios, but reality is guilty people run 99% of the time.

if the cops can show he was intoxicated...he's out for the year. He's at his lawyers place where they are trying to sober him up and get 'a story' straight...that is if he's smart.

if he's dumb he's at a friends place or a current players house hiding.

Where the hell does it say he's been, "hiding?" Read my earlier post. He's going to Phoenix PD to answer questions with his lawyer.

Please stop jumping to conclusions using suppositions.

Well, there's only a few common sense options when you can't locate someone. Perhaps he's just lost? Or chilling with the homies? Or formulating plans with his attorney?

As TJ has pointed out three time now, he is schedule to meet with the police later today with his lawyer. He is not hiding.

hes hiding in my empty spa with the lid closed. Inside he also has a hooker he killed last night, a bag of cocaine and a pressure cooker bomb.

Where in any of the reports did it ever say he was HIDING?

All anything ever said was when the cops showed up Washington wasn't there and they would like to talk with him. It isn't like they put a warrant out for his arrest because they couldn't find him.

I heard it wasn't a hooker at all. It was Matt Leinart.
