GS must beat DEN and DAL in our final matchups; that is the most important. Otherwise they lose tie breaker to both teams... Those games are absolute must, must, must wins.

W's need to go 5 and 4 to close out the season to get to 50 and two of those wins IMO Must be vs. Den and Dal.

Must Wins:
Den
Dal

Likely wins:
LAC
MEM
SEA
SAC

Could be losses:
SA
PHO
NO

Those teams are gonna be playing very hard. Why, oh why, must we face them four times at this juncture? :(

Looks like the Clippers and the Sonics have a real spoiler role to play...

Yup, every team is fighting for the #1 seed.

I'd hate not to see my Warriors get in, but this is the most incredible NBA season in the history of the game; what a treat!

Especially with Brand coming back (hopefully) this week. He plans on playing during this week's road trip. Maybe Wednesday's game against the Sonics. That's my team so I am hoping he and the Clips play a part in that role. I don't like Denver so if we can help GS's cause (like them) then I'm all for it. We have owned them the last few years.

Nobody in the west has even clinched a playoff spot yet.

Man I am a Warriors fan and it is going to be a nervous 10 games for us fans. Even if we do make the playoffs we will probabaly lose in the 1st rd anyways. we are way to small.

In the event two or more teams are tied in the standings, a series of tiebreakers are applied to determine which team receives the higher seeding.
Two-Team Tiebreaker
1. Better record in head-to-head games
2. Higher winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
3. Higher winning percentage in conference games
4. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
5. Higher winning percentage against playoff teams in opposite conference
6. Higher point differential between points scored and points allowed
Three-Team Tiebreaker
1. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied
2. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)
3. Highest winning percentage in conference games
4. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference
5. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed

i've been watching the seeding the past month or so. its flawed, the reason i say that is, UTAH.
they lose a couple, win1, lose, win...whatever. they are comfy in that 4th spot, even though they have a worst record than the 5 & 6th seeds.
i think seeding should go by conference-overall, not division.
no one talks about it, but utah has actually been about the 6th seed if based on record alone.
a couple of loses and they are tied with denver, dallas, &gs.

I am loving it. I don't think we will ever see a race this close ever again. It's just sick. The Suns are a prime example. Win 1 your on top. Lose 1 drop to the 6th seed. That is just freaking crazy. Now factor in that your probably going to have a 50 win team not make it to the playoffs. Has that even happened before? Wow.

I agree with you 100%. With the playoff race being so tight, I really think the seeding should be based on conference-overall. And I would even say this if my favorite team was benefitting from this stupid division winner rule.

We once won 48 games and missed the playoffs. I believe that is still a record.

I'm thinking Dallas doesn't make it in, and I'm fine with that. I like Golden State and Denver a lot more, and would rather face them in the playoffs than Dallas with Nowitzki back.
