Dallas just won in OT. Its 3-1 Mavs now. They played a great last 10 mins in the game. Devin Harris, Jason Terry , Stackhouse made some nice clutch shots.

Too bad. Even though I wanted Dallas to eventually win the series, I wanted it to go 7 games.

Well, we need to get over Clips first...

as much as I hate to say it, that was a ballsy win by the Mavs tonight - actually, both of their wins were pretty impressive - they played good enough D on Duncan at the end and they were just super clutch from the field and the line.

Devon Harris has turned into a scary weapon - one we really didn't see in the regular season - looks like this could be Dallas' year to get ot the Finals after all... next year when we're healthy, it's gonna be the monster of all monster playoff series - a true rivalry in the west to compare to th eold Lakers-Sacto onein the Shaq-KObe era.

I watched the last 2 games and the MAVS killed the spurs with smallball. Its over now, the spurs will not win 3 in a row now. The problem is that the small balll created defensive mismatches and the spurs had to switch on D, onto faster players. Spurs small ball is not so quick, limits the use of their bench(no Nesterovic, no muhammad, no oberto). The spurs were trying to guard jason terry, devin harris, stackhouse with, at best, Tony Parker, Bowen and Manu(fouled out with ~3mins in regualtion), and when they tried to use Barry and Van Exel it was a total mismatch against any of those guys. I thought that Devin harris out played Tony Parker, head to head and stackhouse scored consistently on anyone, including Bowen. Harris is very fast like LB and a very good defender. THe weakness is that Harris and Terry got sloppy with the handle at the end of the game when the score was close. Its a weakness, but there are alot of strengths with that team.

it pretty much sucks that the spurs look to be on their way out and we wont have amare to dominate the mavs again on the way to the finals. its sometimes brutal to watch the suns just depend sooooo much on making jumpers all game while other teams have the luxury of dumping inside to someone to get layups and five foot buckets.

It doesn't look great for the spurs right now, but I won't declare that series over by any means. The Suns-Lakers series was all but over as well, until it wasn't. The Spurs are very capable of winning three games in a row, even against Dallas. The could've easily won the last two games, so it's not like they haven't been in it. I'd also say the officiating favored Dallas last night IMO.

I think the Mavs have this won and I think we'll stand a chance at beating them but not if we play like we have lately. I just hope we win our series and the Spurs can win 1 or 2 more.

Well, we need to pass Clippers first. :(

I do hope we can meet Mavs and I still think we have the mental advantage over them. Nash just plays so much better against them and Marion will be very effective. Our matchup against them is just better IMO.

Dirk should have made that layup last night.
