According to FootballOutsiders' snap counts, Dan Williams was with the base defense on 58% of snaps against Miami. Dude was a dominating presence and continues to justify his draft status. Man's game.

In unrelated news, Stewart Bradley took 0 snaps with the defense on Sunday.

Was Williams in the game on DWash sack/fumble in the fourth quarter?

Eason, on the other hand, looked like garbage after talking about Richie Incognito all week.

Should use Carter more.

I dont know whats with Bradley. He looked good in preseason. I know Paris is a little banged up right now, maybe hell get in there.

I think Stewart Bradley not playing is a lot more about Paris Lenon than it is about Stewart Bradley. It's become clear this season that Lenon is far more of a key player, and leader, than any of us realized.

If Lenon were to go down, I think Bradley would fill in well.

Dude, Reggie Walker backs up Paris Lenon.

Okay, so he backs up Daryl Washington. That helps my point even more.

He wasn't brought in to back up Daryl Washington. If the guy is good, don't you think that Horton would find a way to get him on the field?

He was paid to start next to Washington. But, Lenon has beat him out. Still say that is more about Lenon than Bradley, and don't really see a problem with it at this point. If Lenon was sucking and he wasn't seeing the field, then yeah. But that isn't the case.

So... why isn't he backing up Lenon, then? Your arugment doesn't make any sense. You're saying that Bradley's losing his job to Lenon, then losing his backup job to Walker (regardless of what Shane's posts are saying--Walker is the first ILB off the bench), somehow supports the idea that Bradley's working out just peachy?

How does that make sense?

UPDATE: Stewart Bradley actually got 2 snaps with the defense Sunday. 2% of the total defensive snaps. So, good work there, or something.

At 4-0, I am having trouble seeing how anyone can maintain such a high level of outrage about Bradley.

Who cares?

I actually don't. Once he took the big pay cut, I just think it's fun to mention it. I don't really understand why Shane and AJ are so invested in making sure that we don't think that Stewart Bradley remains a pretty embarrassing signing.

Maybe it has more to do with you bringing up all the time and less to do with Bradley...

After all the years of lacking quality depth because this team couldn't pay for it, I have no problem with this whatsoever. Find it refreshing that they aren't afraid to sit a contract on the bench rather than cut it, because they are more concerned about the bottom line than football.

BUT, it all depends on Bradley playing as well as he did with the #1s during the preseason if he is needed to start.

It is embarrassing right up until he took the pay cut at which point it became a non issue. You still bring it up to get your usual digs in at the organization i'm assuming? Why else do it? Fun? Ummm ok.

And, in the spirit of good fun, let's never forget your evaluation of Daryl Washington.

Bradley backs up Lenon. Not that it matters.
In a true sense - everyone backs up everyone.

Pretty much a matter of interchangeable parts at LB. If someone goes down, the best guy for the situation goes in (regardless of where he's penciled on the depth chart).
