Just curious..... how much does the car matter in Nascar? Are they all the same, meaning and it's all on the driver and pit crew to finish well?

I was thinking Nascar is more of a regional thrill, but I guess auto racing in general is world-wide. So upon reflection I think I should kick myself in the shin for bringing it up.
I think if you have a chance to be maimed or killed while doing it then it can be considered a sport. Turning left is more of a sport than bowling or golf.
That means there are a few drivers worse than her!
Well, one guy died earlier this season so you can't blame him.
