Darksider Goes Kool-Aider

Every year, I think about hitting the casino before the season to put in some bets; every year I dismiss the notion as a waste of time and money. Yesterday, flush with optimism (and a better job!), I limped into the Rivers Casino, bugged the sports book guy to help me figure out the labyrinthine use of the betting kiosks, and got down to it. I checked out the futures bets with the Cards, and said "Why not?" Here's what I got:

KM to win regular-season MVP and the Cards to win the West. 20 bucks will get me 680 if they pull it off. Darksider? Eh, yeah, because I can't stand Kliff and Keim. Ownership isn't inspiring the most confidence either. Still and all, we have a potential world-beater QB, so why not bet on him?

Also had to bet on the Stillers to implode on the under at 7.5 games hehe And oh, yeah, I have a 6-game NFL-EPL parley to win me over 6 grand off 20 bucks. I'm not holding my breath lol
