I don't see what others are saying that he's trying to shy away from contact.

This is just coachspeak. The guy is nothing but a roster problem. Can't cut him because of the cap hit and can't play him because he doesn't perform. To think that another team will trade for him is ludicrous. Unfortunately, he will be on the roster next season and provide little or nothing.

It will be interesting, and very telling if we see him playing a lot in preseason. Especially in the 4th quarters and the last preseason game. We'll know what the team thinks of him and it should be a real hard pill for him to swallow. But he has put himself in this position. I don't think he is done. I think he is running scared.

Compare those two games to his prime...he was clearly faster and more elusive.

I miss David Johnson...that dude was special!

The eye in the sky don't lie.

Watch the tape from last year.....THAT is embarrassing.

It is what it is, he has lost his passion for the game, and is running to not get hurt and get paid.

I cannot blame the man for making his money snd doing what he wants after, but as a fan I can call him an embarrassment because that is what he put out there.

He has been the equivalent of a 3rd string running back more than he has been a superstar.

And I was a HUGE David Johnson fan, and want him to be good, really badly, but its almost like he feels challenged to show how poorly he can play.

Cause he seems to be regressing at a very fast rate.

Sadly, I have to agree with RM. I hope & pray I'm wrong, but I seldom am. Just ask my wife:cool:
