The 2 main guys at WalterFootball each did a re-mock for rounds 2 & 3 (yeah, i know mocks lose all their appeal right when the draft starts but still) --

Walt had Budda Baker in round 2 and Jake Butt in round 3 (not bad)

Charlie had Davis Webb in round 2 and Noah Brown in round 3 (Cooper Kupp, Chris Godwin and A'Darius Stewart all both available in round 3 in his mock, so hate the mocked pick of Brown).

Peterman is the guy who transferred out of Tennessee when he lost the job to Dobbs. Clipboard carrier.
Not to mention that Pitt offense catered to him moreso than any other QB in this class. Super pass on him.

Its not a reach

He averaged 1,700 yards and 20 TDs per season....for 4 seasons. He has the strongest resume in the draft.
yeah.. i said he was intriguing.. then again he did that against schools like northern arizona and montana state

i wont get my hopes up, but if Cooper Kupp is a Cardinal, then thatll make my entire draft.
My fiance just graduated from EWU and we watched him since he was here. Cooper is one hell of a football player! Ill take him in any round from now. Yeah I'm a homer!

You dont think N.AZ and Montana knew he was coming?

You dont think they double teamed him and did everything they could to neutralize the conferences most dominant player?

And he still dominated.

Fwiw, the reason Noah Brown surprisingly declared for the draft was he was going to be suspended at OSU for a large portion of the season

I suspect (but don't know) that Jerome could also be a slot corner or outside corner as well as a safety.

Thoughts?

I like Budda Baker a lot. The problem is, we already have him on this team, his name is Tyrann Mathieu. Where is Budda going to play?
Our goal should be to be 2-deep in every customized position.

If Ty were to go down (again), we'd have to overhaul our entire defense. With Budda to back him up, we wouldn't miss a beat.

I'm hoping we can grab Chidobe Awuzie at 45. Solid corner who can play outside, in the slot or at safety. Has good instincts and is an effective run stopper and blitzer. Might be one of those 2 for 1 type players BA said they might have their eyes on.

Also Peterman in the 3rd.

Baker loves playing FS and slot CB. Honey Badger loves SS and slot CB. It would be awesome to have them both.

Awuzie can play every position in the secondary. He's like a "3 in 1." Great call on him.

I would love Dobbs...I really would love to see a fast, smart, mobile QB in BA's spread.

I could very well love Awuzie on this team because might be able to play CB on the outside better than Baker.

I don't get the luv for Dobbs IMO he's no better than Blogan
