I don't understand why we give up so much, no matter who it is. No one stands out that much at this point.

Are we going to remain weak at CB again this year. That will be tragic. IMO that is our Achilles heal.

Our goal should be to be 2-deep in every customized position.

If Ty were to go down (again), we'd have to overhaul our entire defense. With Budda to back him up, we wouldn't miss a beat.

how about being 1 deep at the #2 CB position before we start going 2 deep at the others?

And before you say we have Williams and Bethel there... well, everyone said the same last off-season and where did that get us?

I don't mind any of our picks so far, but I can honestly say the Cards leave me more perplexed every year in who the pick where and the trades they decide to make to get some of them. No way possible to ever figure them out.

Need some clarity about trade assets given up.

The Cardinals traded up nine spots to get him, giving up a fourth- and sixth-rounder to move from the 45th overall spot to the 36th.

The Cardinals traded their second-, fourth- and sixth-round picks this season and a fourth-round pick next season to the Chicago Bears in order to move up to the 36th overall pick, where they took Baker, a 5-foot-10, 192-pounder.

Here is the trade for Budda Baker in detail. See below.

As I understand it, the Cardinals swamped 2nd round picks with the Bears in this draft.

Additionally the the Cardinals traded their 4th and 6th round picks in this draft plus their 4th round pick in next year's draft.

However, the Cardinals gain another 7th round pick in this draft..

Arizona Cardinals

Traded their second-round No. 45 pick, fourth-round No. 119 pick, sixth-round No. 197 pick and a fourth-round pick in 2018 to Bears for second-round No. 36 overall pick (drafted S Budda Baker) and seventh-round No. 221 overall pick.

Not a terrible trade since the Cardinals will get compensatory picks in next year's draft.

In this draft, the Cardinals still have their 3rd round pick, two 5th round picks and two 7th round picks.
