Well we aren't Colorado.. We wouldn't have been able to keep up that offensive pace all year. Baseball is a long season, you can't buy into early season hype.

I dont know if it's necessarily hype but I know what you mean. We kinda are what we are and we always have been all season. A slightly sub .500 team but not as bad as last year. :( :)

We will continue to beat up on the Marlins and Brewers of the league and continue to get smoked by the Cardinals and Dodgers of the league.

Its actually good. We're not doing anything this year but we have a TON of young talent so I hope they are either taking note or that the veterans and coaches are pointing it out to them.

"This is what a bad team looks like, this is what a good team looks like, bad baseball vs. good baseball etc. we are somewhere in between so lets get to where the good guys are."

I still think that if we lose 6 right now to the Dodgers and Giants it deals a significant blow to the psyche of this team. Gotta get atleast a couple wins here. No moral victories like the Cardinals series.

Agree with this for the most part... I really don't have any faith in our pitching however, so grabbing 6 games on this roadie is highly unlikely IMHO.
Additionally, our offense is now coming back down to earth. Inciarte and Peralta are crashing hard. Tomas is slowing down. Owings and whomever we have at catcher & SS just absolutely kill us. So, as always, it's essentially back to Goldy or bust, with some help from Pollack. Definitely not a winning formula... :(

Totally agree. Thomas is one I have always been thinking enjoy it while it lasts since he got hot. I think he is about a .275-.280 hitter by the end of the year. Hope I'm wrong but his OPS and OBP do not match up with a .331 hitter. It will all level off as things tend to do.

I have faith in our pitching.

Ray pitched well past 2 times against the Rockies and Mets
Hellickson pitched better last couple of starts
Anderson if we score more runs for him he would get more wins.

Our offense is fine. We are going to rough up on Frias.

Lamb just got back. Give him some time to gel with the team.

Agreed. As far as people "throwing in the towel" so to speak saying "we suck!!" ... I'm kinda just like.. "What did you expect.."

I said at the start of the season I'm excited to see the young talent develope, and that's exactly where my expectations remain.

I hated seeing Robbie Ray throwing 4 straight balls with 2 outs. You could see where this was going.

Our bullpen blew the game.

Yep, Anderson and Ray are pitching well but have nothing to show for it. I like all the youth we have and I see a great future for us, but the bullpen is letting us down bigtime.

Yasmani singles off the center field wall. I wonder if he was admiring it, thinking it was a homer?

Puig is back, and Bolsinger is having a beast year. (seriously??? we was our reject last year with an ERA over 5) and Pederson is having a good year out of nowhere.

We have De La Rosa and Hellickson pitching in the same series.

we gon' get swept

If anyone wants lotto numbers lemme know

AJ comes thru huge in the 9th.

Tomas is having a great game, hitting the ball with POWER. Should have 2 homeruns, got robbed on a stellar catch on his first
