Okay? He hit .286 vs Righties and .284 vs Lefties in 2024... basically the same, but no HRs vs Lefties in 2024.

Only 6 XBH vs LHP so there’s more to it than just batting average. A big issue with him is he’s been a negative WAR defensive player his entire career. If a team makes a worthy enough offer based on that month long hot streak you strongly consider it.

I'd like to see McCarthy say, and although I don't think Thomas is ever going to be much of a hitter his defense is nice to have, at least until Jones is ready.

And they can't get Montgomery out of here soon enough for me.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I would hold on to Montgomery. If they trade him they wouldn’t get much back and will probably have to eat salary. I see him as a perfect player to bounce back. He’s never been that bad, he will have a full off season and training camp, and he will be going into another contract year.

Very unpopular. Montgomery sucked in St. Louis (that's why he was jettisoned), had a miracle "one season wonder" with Texas, and then went off the suckicity scale in AZ. Trade the bum, take the loss, and move on. Owner knows he made a mistake. He gambled and lost on Montgomery.
