So we get used BP baseballs instead of some new pearlsI would really like to hang on to him through spring training. Trading him now is selling low
Agreed. By mid-late Spring Ball, teams will have either experienced a key injury and will be in sudden need of a tested and proven arm, or, they have realized the quality of their rotation isn’t what they thought it was and as such, will be more intentional about dealing…I would really like to hang on to him through spring training. Yea… of course. We are the “ARIZONA” Diamondbacks after all!One of those teams could easily be us.
Would make a ton of sense, but it sounds like it's not going to happen. (At least according to Gambo)Any chance of bringing back Grichuk for next year? I’d feel a lot better about the lineup with his right-hand bat as DH.
I can see a world where Lawler is on the roster and plays some second, short and third, allowing guys like Suarez and Marte to DH a bunch and resting their bodies. Not really sure what is out there that would help this team or what we can afford.
