Agreed. By mid-late Spring Ball, teams will have either experienced a key injury and will be in sudden need of a tested and proven arm, or, they have realized the quality of their rotation isn’t what they thought it was and as such, will be more intentional about dealing…

#Dbacks pitchers and catchers will report to @SaltRiverFields in less than 40 days.The D'backs still have a glutton of starting pitchers, and could use a (major) DH upgrade.

Any chance of bringing back Grichuk for next year? I’d feel a lot better about the lineup with his right-hand bat as DH.

Would make a ton of sense, but it sounds like it's not going to happen. (At least according to Gambo)

I can see a world where Lawler is on the roster and plays some second, short and third, allowing guys like Suarez and Marte to DH a bunch and resting their bodies. Not really sure what is out there that would help this team or what we can afford.

Lawlar should be on the major league roster. It is my hope he is one of the 3 spots remaining on the 40
