Looks like Barret got hung out to dry. Did ARZ pick him knowing they could not sign him a get the pick back next year? I think they might have had an idea but since they could not conduct their own medical evaluation until after they drafted him, they obviously think there will be someone better next year so they said adios. At least he is a FA so he can sign where he wants and does not have to sit out a year.

Looks like there is some really good pitching in next years draft, should further replenish a farm system that desperately needed it.
