Gonna get it out of the way so is to not sound like a salty bitch if we lose the game.
I hate the new Wild Card format. If we lose, this entire ride will be all for naught.

What do you guys think for the WC game. Obviously we send Greinke out for that game, so how do you handle his final start of the season?
1. If he pitches in his usual spot, he'd pitch Wednesday against the Giants, and then not again till the WC game the following Wednesday.
2. Or we could hold him off and pitch him Friday against the Royals, and he could pitch the WC game on his usual 5 days rest.
3. Or we could not pitch him at all until the WC game.
Either way you are breaking up the normal routine a bit. What say you?

It looks like playoff tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9a.m. Are they sold online or do we call. Any info would be appreciated.

Would you say the same thing for the team that loses the World Series? The entire ride would have been for naught?
I am a baseball purist, back to the days when there was one pennant winner in each league, the team on top of the final standings. But a lot has changed since then.
I don't think what we've fought for and accomplished is all for naught and I question why anyone would hate their team advancing to the next level.
It represents an extra feeling of pride. For the Valley of the Sun and the State. For the front office and management crew. And especially for the players and die-hard fans.
And a twinkle in our eyes and extra pride in our heart, whatever happens during the post season, because it raises the bar for next season.
Please reconsider any sentence that has the word "hate" in it.
It's baseball, stick with routine - #1. Should the Dbacks win the WC, the matchups against LA are better based on the last month of play against them. What do you guys think for the WC game. Obviously we send Greinke out for that game, so how do you handle his final start of the season?

At least there is a 7 game series. Not just a one a done game.
Dumbo question here:
If the National League Championship ends up being the Cubs and the DBacks, and the DBacks have a better record, are the Dbacks the home team? (Don't know if there's a "penalty" for being the wild card team).
Thanks!
Pretty sure the DBacks will be the road team until the WS.
