Wonder why Melvin kind of gave this game up from the beginning. Montero catching Randy and calling the game? RBI production removed from the lineup?

Just saw Randy was pulled after 4 innings. Ouch. Definite weak link in the staff - assuming Scherzer takes over for edgar.

Makes sense - I just don't trust Miggy handling Randy at this point. Hammock may have been a better choice. But what's done is done.

Damn. I was listening to it on radio and when I left to do other things, the score was 5 to 7.

I'll watch the replay on foxaz a little later.

Looks like my early skeptical hopefulness on RJ is about right, for now. If we need to replace both Edgar and RJ, we'll be in trouble.

We cannot release Edgar if we are going to need him in place of RJ.
