After yesterday's drama, the team needs to get out of L.A. ASAP.

Glad we won the series and continue to dominate the Doiyers.

BTW- Love Collmenter as the long reliever and de facto extra innings starter. Dude is so undervalued for his role on this team, IMO.

After seeing a few too many uneasy performances by Hernandez and Bell, I'm hoping Putz will be back sooner than later.

Bell almost blew it in a number of ways, most of which being not getting his fat arse over there for the putout at first. While it DID seem that the runner missed the bag, it shouldn't even have been close had Bell done his job.

We won though.

Bell is a total loser, I am shocked he made it to the base. Of course buttons popped off and his thong inhibited him from running at his full speed of 1MPH, but at least he didn't fall down and start eating the chalk on the baseline.

I can't believe I am saying this but I rather have Putz as the closer overr Bell.

Totally agree that a warning should've been issued after the Miggy incident. And I'll cut Kennedy some slack on the Puig beaning...I guess...
But the hit in Grienke was beyond stupid and over the line dangerous. I would be shocked if the league doesn't hammer him hard with a big suspension... Which will only hurt our rotation and he team. Stupid...

Whatever Kennedy gets, Greinke should get at least that amount - he threw at Miggy's head several times.

I'm really tired of watching Didi try to pull that outside pitch and miss by a mile. Bases load, 2 outs, 2 strikes, get your bat on the ball. He needs to learn to shorten his swing and hit to the opposite field.

I am sure Baylor is working on that with him.

How quickly people have forgotten just how bad Putz has been this year. He was only 5 out of 9 in save opportunities. Those four blown saves equal his entire 2011 season and is only one less than last season's five blown saves.
I hope he comes back a lot better than he was earlier but I'm not anxiously awaiting it. Bell has been bad for the heart but is 12 out of 14 in save opportunities. Much better than what Putz was doing.

If Parra makes that catch in right (Upton-style muff), Corbin wins his 10th. Weird to see him fall apart so quickly after dominating the previous innings.

Watched that play several times and still can't believe Parra whiffed on that ball! So unlike him... He didn't lose it in the lights and it wasn't an odd, slicing type of hit. Bummer...

And I bet he is going to have someone hit a hundred balls like that at him today.

Playing too shallow in the outfield. Had he been back a few feet, he fields that and keeps Ryu's chubby butt at 1st base.

Damn - that is two mentions of baseball player's chubby butts in one thread.

Actually... since it was a pitcher at the plate, I think he should've been playing even more shallow. If he had, he would've caught that ball...
